Rachel and I will shortly be on the move again. We are headed back to Asia.
We discussed many places to go teach, from Indonesia to Taiwan, from Georgia to the UAE. Taiwan and Japan were really appealing, but they both cost a lot to get to. In the end, free airfare and accommodation was too much to pass up, and we are heading back to Seoul. It should be possible to save up some money there, which is our primary goal at this point. But we still have lots of friends there and know our way around, which certainly factored into the decision.
I’m excited to live in Jamsil, which was one of my favorite parts of the city. I haven’t much explored much of it, either. My school sounds great–my students will be changing every week or two so there won’t be the connection I had last year, but it won’t have nearly as much pointless work either.
