Photo of the Week: Viking Cones

Tasmania is one of my favorite places in the world.  It combines awe-inspiring with cute in a way that few regions can match.  This sign definitely captures one of the latter qualities.

Even though I don’t eat ice-cream, this sign cracks me up.  Firstly, it’s got a Viking, which is always a win.  Secondly, some of the flavors seem made up: “Chock-a-block?”  “Zappa?”  What?

But the best part is the last choice.  You can choose between soft, hard, or “special” serve.  The mind boggles.
