Yeti Eats: Vegan Wellington

While I still adhere to the theory that anyone who refers to themselves as a “foody” is really kind of an asshole, it is true that food is a big part of traveling. Or life, really, for that matter.

As a vegan, it’s especially exciting to travel to a town where that word is understood. The vegan scene in Wellington is, if not nascent, still in its toddler years. But there are more and more great places to taste some tofu, scarf some shitakes, or fill up on falafel.

We already posted on our favorite restaurant: Abakebabra. Clever name and tasty food. But that was really only the tip of the iceberg (lettuce).

From Jamaican to sushi to Malaysian, Wellington has an egregiously high number of delicious foods. Here is smattering:
